My story I was born in Christian family, but I have not yet accepted Jesus as my personal savior. I am the fourth out of five children of the household. I was living with my mom and stepfather. My stepfather was very abusive, both physically and mentally. My mother decided to send me to the House of Light. I am very happy that the House of Light allowed me to stay in their home and escape my stepfather's abuse. I promised myself I would never go back to my mother's house again.
