My story I was born in Akha animist religion. I was born in Burma and moved to Thailand after my dad died in the war few years ago. I grew up with my mom and I have an older sister. My family came to Thailand illegally meaning we are not Thai citizens. This has made it hard for my mother to find work so we are very poor and cannot afford food. I am so happy that I can come and live at the Akha House of Light.
