Center Story This center is located in Andhra Pradesh and received quite a bit of community resistance at first and the people encouraged one another to shun it. However, one despite mother from a neighboring village brought her baby girl to the center to escape her abusive husband. Her husband found himself in prison due to his criminal lifestyle and it was there he was introduced to Christ. He became a new man! After he was released, he found his wife and daughter. So great was his transformation that people began attending the church out of curiosity. Many decided to follow Christ and the church recently held two baptism services where people made public declarations of their faith! From feeding baby girls to serving their families, this center is witnessing the impact Christ’s transforming power can have on a community.
